ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT FOR SERVICE BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AND THE REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> <br />This agreement is made as of this ~l of ,34~4. by and between the <br />Redwood City School District (RCSD) and the City of Redwood City (Contractor). <br /> <br />Now, therefore the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Services <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees to provide a School Resource Officer four days per week for a total <br />of twenty eight hours per week for eight months. The officers will work at both Kennedy <br />Middle School and at McKinley Middle School in accordance with the temis and <br />conditions of this agreement. <br /> <br />2. Scope of Services <br /> <br />The Contractor agrees to provide a School Resource Officer for four days per week at <br />Kennedy and McKinley Middle Schools to assist the school community as needed. <br /> <br />3. Use of Subcontractors <br /> <br />The Contractor shall not assign this agreement or any portion thereof to a third party <br />without the prior written consent of the School District. <br /> <br /> 4. Insurance <br /> <br /> The Contractor understands the RCSD does not provide liability, malpractice, or workers <br /> compensation insurance for the Contractor. The Contractor is responsible for the <br /> maintenance of personal and professional insurance to provide protection for any claims <br /> arising out of service under this agreement. The Contractor will provide proof of <br /> insurance and will identify RCSD as an additional insured. <br /> <br /> 5. Equal Employment Opportunity <br /> <br /> In connection with the performance of this Agreement, the Contractor shall not <br /> discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, <br /> color, sex, physical handicap, or national origin. <br /> <br /> <br />
