M /S: Ch andl er/LaBerge <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10740 AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF TWO (2) PUMPER TRUCKS THROUGH <br />THE CITY OF SAN JOSE SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; AND AUTHORIZE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT FOR PURCHASE OF SAID EQUIPMENT, AND FOR LEASE <br />PURCHASE FINANCING THEREOF, AS DEEMED APPROPRIATE <br />adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Claire determined it to be the consensus of Council to <br />refer to staff for investigation and report the suggestion of Councilman <br />Britschgi that one of the old pumper trucks be kept operational and stationed <br />but not manned, in the reconstructed temporary fire station at Redwood Shores <br />for emergency use, with the temporary structure to be made as attractive as <br />possible for such use. <br />MEMO 3/33/88 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Robert Del l'Ergo, attorney, 1900 Broadway, representing Dr. Ruben Mal l ari in Item <br />1 8 . said that his clients own H i l 1 crest V i l l a Residence Care Home at 909 Hill crest <br />Drive, and that their request is for increased sewer capacity as it is already <br />annexed to the Oak Knoll District. <br />City Attorney Schricker advised Council to remove Item 18. from the Consent <br />Calendar, with staff to look into the matter. <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Claire determined it to be the consensus of Council that it is <br />Council policy that the vote on any findings presented after an item has been <br />considered by Council shall reflect the same vote as in the substantive issue. <br />(See Item 12.) <br />MEMO 3/22/88 <br />M /S: Bury /Stangel to waive reading of the Consent Calendar, adopt the resolutions <br />and approve other items. <br />carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />10.
