10. Water Conservation Program (301 -06) <br />Report: Director of General Services 4/28/88 <br />Fred Sennewald, Director of General Services, presented charts and graphs to <br />illustrate the concept and impact of the proposed water conservation program <br />"1060 ". <br />Council requested staff to: <br />a. investigate use of SBSA water; <br />b. describe cost impacts on city and citizens; <br />c. contact state legislators to remind them this is a statewide issue; <br />d. investigate feasibility of Citizens Appeal Board, with ultimate <br />appeal to Council <br />MEMO 5/3/88 <br />Mayor Greenalch determined it to be the consensus of the Council to continue <br />with staff's time lire and prepare a water rationing ordinance for first <br />reading on May 9, 1988, and a public hearing on May 23, 1988 (postponing <br />consideration of the General Plan originally scheduled for that night). <br />MEMO 5/3/88 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />M /S: Buchan /Stangel to waive reading of the Consent Calendar, adopt the <br />resolutions and approve other items, with the exception of Item 13 which was <br />removed . <br />Carri Ed unanimously by rol l call vote. <br />11.
