(See Supplemental Budget Report) Public Safety - Police Chief Guardi no presented his request for ten additional sworn police officers which was denied by the City Manager. M /S: Stangel /Bury to increase the number of Police Department sworn personnel by four additional persons. Discussion followed concerning the possible source of funds for the positions and the need for discussion on the subject. City Manager Smith advised that the City expenditures for promotion with the Bureau and the Chamber involve contracts which are monitored and that regular reports are received from both agencies.
