<br />"-"--- ---a DAS:d': 11/28/88 (#012/241 <br /> DEe 5 19as <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 10944 COpy <br /> ---------- <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT GRANTS OR <br /> DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND <br /> RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 7101 <br /> WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State <br />of California requires that deeds or grants conveying any <br />interest in or easement upon real estate to political <br />corporations be accepted by the grantee prior to being recorded; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby an <br />officer or agent may be authorized by the political corporation <br />to accept such deeds or grants on its behalf; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> L That Arlyn C, Jorgenson, City Clerk of the City of <br />Redwood .City, be and she hereby is authorized to accept, on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City, all deeds or grants conveying <br />an interest in or easement upon real estate to the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> 2.
