EXHIBIT 'A' <br /> <br /> To the professional services agreement with The Sandul Company, Inc. <br /> <br />Provide necessarily public information, communications and outreach programs <br />for the Public Works Services Department. The agreement will run through Dec. <br />31, 2001, with a "budget" of 32-40 hours per month. The City will be invoiced <br />monthly for hours worked at the direction of the Public Works Services Director. <br />The not-to-exceed value of the agreement shall be $24,000. The Sandul <br />Company will provide the following types of services: <br /> <br />1. Develop content materials for an expanded web site that will help educate the <br /> public about the water supply and distribution problems we face, as well as <br /> on-line guides for conservation. Create new "City Services" sites that focus <br /> on street cleaning and lagoons / waterways. <br /> <br />2. Write, design and coordinate printing of an 8 ¼ by 11 "Our Water Supply" <br /> newsletter, printed on both sides, which can be distributed in the bimonthly bill <br /> to customers. The newsletter will include timely articles relating to the myriad <br /> of issues involving water supply, allocations and distribution, as well as on- <br /> going tips for conservation. (See first issue attached). <br /> <br />3. Participate in the team that assists staff in the review the water recycling plan, <br /> Water supply plan, and regional reports and data compiled by BAWUA and <br /> the SFPUC. As part of the team that works with staff, this consultant's role <br /> will be to help communicate the important developments as they unfold, and <br /> to advise on effective public information and customer service programs. <br /> <br />4. Develop collateral public information and community relations materials that <br /> can be used with homeowner associations, community groups, the media, <br /> and other stakeholders. <br /> <br /> <br />
