MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />October 2, 2017 <br />MO. 17-180 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: October 3, 2017 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redwood City, City <br />of Menlo Park, Town of Atherton, and County of San Mateo County for <br />the planning, designing and permitting of flood protection measures <br />within the Bayfront Canal and Atherton Channel Watershed <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1A (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on October 2, 2017. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain, and <br />Mayor Seybert <br />M/S Borgens/Gee to approve the Consent Calendar. <br />By motion, to authorize the City Manager to (1) proceed with the planning, designing and <br />permitting of flood protection measures within the Bayfront Canal and Atherton Channel <br />Watershed, and (2) execute the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of <br />Redwood City, City of Menlo Park, Town of Atherton, and County of San Mateo, with <br />additions, clarifications and other changes as the City Manager deems appropriate or <br />necessary, or an alternative agreement, in order to effectuate the above -stated purpose and <br />allow cost-sharing between any resulting participating entities. <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br />4�"L 6 tf <br />Pamela Aguilar, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />
