This year's
targeted buildings were the Main Library (non-public areas), Fire Station #9,
(administrative areas, bedrooms, and stairwells), plus the complete exterior of the Red
Morton Community Center.
The newly painted appearance has truly been appreciated by the patrons, and
aesthetically brightened up these facilities.
Metro Structural Painting of San Francisco, California completed the work in
accordance with the contract. The total cost was $79,800, with no change orders.
Fiscal Impacts
Funds in the amount of $136,000 were allocated in the 2000-2001 Capital Improvement
Program Budget for this project. The balance of the funds will be returned to the Civic
Facilities Painting Program.
I
~
Brian Lee
Senior Civil Engineer
JPIBL:ss
s/library/reports/brian/ Acceptanance_ Civic Facilities Painting
. _.._ ·4_
