Luzuriaga Taylor, Inc., Civil t:ngineers, entitled, "Improvement Plan5 tor Parcel Map 2000-8 - 242 Orchard Avenue", and in accordance with City's revised specifications entitled, "Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City", adopted January 5, 1998, which plans and specifications are on file in the office of the City Engineer. Said Improvements shall also be constructed in strict compliance with the provisions of Chapter 30 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, the subdivision regulations of said City. To the extent that a conflict exists between the plans and specifications and said Chapter 30 in regard to the standard for a particular improvement; the stricter standard shall govern. Owners shall complete all of the Improvements, subject to time extensions allowable under Paragraph 11 on or before November 13, 2002. The Improvements shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, all of the following: (a) grading, paving (b) curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways (c) tree planting (d) undergrounding overhead utility services between the street and the proposed structures and all other work, improvements, or construction req u ired by or mentioned in the abovementioned plans and specifications, conditions of permits and all construction, appurtenances and improvements necessary as reasonable determined by the City Engineer to complete the aforementioned improvements, both within and outside of the abovementioned subdivision. 2. SECURITY. Owners shall, before the release of said final map by City for recordation, furnish to City and file with the City Clerk a certificate of deposit securing the faithful performance and labor and materials by Owners of all work and the construction of the Improvements mentioned in this Agreement within the time herein specified. The amount of said security shall be Thirty-two Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($32,000.00).
