<br />Luzuriaga Taylor, Inc., Civil t:ngineers, entitled, "Improvement Plan5 tor Parcel Map 2000-8 - <br />242 Orchard Avenue", and in accordance with City's revised specifications entitled, <br />"Engineering Standards for the City of Redwood City", adopted January 5, 1998, which plans <br />and specifications are on file in the office of the City Engineer. Said Improvements shall also be <br />constructed in strict compliance with the provisions of Chapter 30 of the Code of the City of <br />Redwood City, the subdivision regulations of said City. To the extent that a conflict exists <br />between the plans and specifications and said Chapter 30 in regard to the standard for a <br />particular improvement; the stricter standard shall govern. Owners shall complete all of the <br />Improvements, subject to time extensions allowable under Paragraph 11 on or before <br />November 13, 2002. The Improvements shall include, but are not necessarily limited to, all of <br />the following: <br /> (a) grading, paving <br /> (b) curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways <br /> (c) tree planting <br /> (d) undergrounding overhead utility services between the street and the <br /> proposed structures <br />and all other work, improvements, or construction req u ired by or mentioned in the <br />abovementioned plans and specifications, conditions of permits and all construction, <br />appurtenances and improvements necessary as reasonable determined by the City Engineer to <br />complete the aforementioned improvements, both within and outside of the abovementioned <br />subdivision. <br /> 2. SECURITY. Owners shall, before the release of said final map by City for <br />recordation, furnish to City and file with the City Clerk a certificate of deposit securing the faithful <br />performance and labor and materials by Owners of all work and the construction of the <br />Improvements mentioned in this Agreement within the time herein specified. The amount of <br />said security shall be Thirty-two Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($32,000.00).
