Protection of Parking Spaces in Red Zone <br /> a. The parties have counted the number of pub1idy available parking <br /> spaces in the Red Zone and agree'that it is 1,949.' (An attaclu:nent <br /> will be made to ,the Parking Fadlities Ag~ment designatins those <br /> spaces.) The City agrees that it will operate and maintain at least <br /> 18507 such spaces in the Red Zone or the Orange Zone. <br /> b. All new deve1opment8 in the Red ZoI\e will be required to self- <br /> parkS according to'reasonable downtown par1ång standards <br /> adopted from time to tUne by the Cíty. If requested by Developer <br /> or Century, the City will promptly provide notice of aJl <br /> applications for new development in the Red Zone. If requested by <br /> Devèloper or Century. the Oty will create a seven-member Parking <br /> , Advisory Committee (PAC) composed of a representative from <br /> Developer, a representative from Centwy, a representative from <br /> the Fox (if t1œ Pox elects to participate), a City representative. and <br /> other representatives ,of downtown businesses or property owneD <br /> as designated by the City. The PAC will advise the Ci~ Council on <br /> downtown parking issues, including: <br /> i. Downtown Parking Standard, <br /> ü.
