Item T ?tle WY Murray /Buchan <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10934 VACATING NON ACCESS RESTRICTION OVER A PORTION OF A <br />PUBLIC STREET (REDWOOD SHORES PARKWAY) IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN <br />ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREET AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE <br />OF CALIFORNIA <br />Adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />a. Joe Marchi, 1366 Rainbow Drive, San Mateo, Director of the Center for the <br />American Musical thanked the Councilmembers and the City of Redwood City for <br />the contribution of $300 enabling the musicians from the Center to perform at <br />the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. this November. <br />b. Louise Short, 220 Center Street, Redwood City, asked the Council for help in <br />receiving compensation she feels the City owes to her. Sequoia High School Parking Task Force report <br />(301 -06) <br />Report: Vice Mayor Georgi LaBerge November 9, 1988 <br />Vice Mayor LaBerge introduced members of task force in audience: Frank <br />Bradley, Ruben Barrales and Jim Centis. <br />In response to questions from Council, Vice Mayor LaBerge and Committeemember <br />Centis acknowledged the need for all five recommendations of the subject <br />report to be approved by the Council with special emphasis on access to the <br />School District Maintenance yard property for parking. The County has <br />discussed moving the Grant yard equipment to better serve the coastal areas, <br />and access to this property for the maintenance yard vehicles should be the <br />highest priority.
