<br />And it appearing to the Board of Trustees that E.H.Sampson and C.J.Hynding have re—
<br />ceived the highest number of votes cast at said election for, the office of MemberJa Board
<br />of Trustees of said Town of Redwood CitY,they were,and each of them was,upon motion duly
<br />made,seconded and cartied,declared elected to said office.
<br />And it appearing to said Board that G.C.Plump has received the highest number of votes
<br />cast at said election for the office of Clerk of said Town of Redwood City,he was,upon
<br />notion duly made,seconded and carried, declared elected to said office.
<br />And. it appearing to said Board that Frank K.Towne received the highest number of votes
<br />cast at said election for the office of Treasurer of said Town of Redwood CitY,he°was,upon
<br />motion duly made,seconded and carried, declared elected to said office. ,
<br />And it appearing to said Board that James P. Coleman received the highest number of
<br />votes cast at said election for the office of Marshal of the Town of Redwood City,he was•,
<br />upon motion duly made seconded and carried, declared elected to said office.
<br />There being no further business to be transacted Trustee Brown,seconded by Trustee
<br />Beeger,moved that the Board adjourn sine die. Motion carried.
<br />The retiring Board of Trustees having adjourned,the new Board of Trustees taken their
<br />seats,Town Clerk G.C.Plump called the Roll. The following Trustees answered to their names
<br />Carl Beeger,Robt. Brown, C.J.H,vnding,Geo.A.Merrill E.H.Sampson.
<br />Trustee Merrill placed Trustee Brown in nomination for President of the Board.
<br />Trustee Brown,declined and placed Geo.A.Merrill in nomination for President Trustee
<br />seconded the nomination and no other nominations being offered Trustee Merrill was declaret
<br />elected as President of the Board of Trustees by the following vote.
<br />AYes,Trustees Beeger,Brown ,Hynding,Sampson .
<br />Noes None. Not voting Trustee Merrill.
<br />President Merrill thanked the Board for the honor conferred and for the many courtesies
<br />extended. to him in the past,and outlined"'aome of the policies,that in his judgment would
<br />be for the better wellfare and advancement of the Town.

<br />Town Marshal,with P.P.Chamberlain and Edw. F.Fitzpatrick as sureties,be accepted. Motion
<br />` carried.
<br />Trustee HYnding, seconded by Trustee Beeger,moved that the Bond of Frank P. Towne,as

<br />Treasurer of the Town of Redwood 01ty9with James
<br />as sureties,in the sum of $20,000.00 be accepted. Motion carried.
