<br />Tits being the time for hearing objections to sewer work in street Improvement Dist -
<br />4 riot No, 14,and no objections being offered,the claim of McGarvey,Hess and Kreiss No. 49,
<br />y for the amount of $2763.55 for the doing of said work9was approved by 'the Finance Com-
<br />mittee.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Beeger,moved that the claim of McGarveY,Hess and
<br />Kreiss,No. 49, amount $2763.55,f or sewer work in. street Improvement District No. 14,be
<br />allowed and the work accepted. .Motion carried by the following vote:
<br />Ayes Trustees,Beeger, Brown, HYnding,-Sampson, Merrill.
<br />Noes Trustees, Nore.
<br />Absent Trustees, None.
<br />Communication from Board of Health was received and filed,on motion of Trustee HYnding
<br />seconded by Trustee Brown. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Brown,seconded by Trustee Beeger, presented the fpllowing resolution and moved
<br />its adoption.
<br />WHEREAS, Robert q. Duncan, P. J. Martina and K. H. List have presented this day to the
<br />Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood CitY,State of California,a certain map entitled,
<br />"Map of Homestead Addition to Redwood City being a subdivision of Lot No. 48 of the Reese
<br />Subdivision of a part of the Redwood Farm,San Mateo county. calif.",and said map being pre-
<br />pared in all respects as required by law;
<br />NOW THEREPORE, be it resolved that the following public streets,highways and avenues
<br />upon said map delineated and set forth,to-wit: GORDON STREET, be, and the same is hereby
<br />accepted on behalf of the public by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood CitY,as
<br />dedicated to public use; and ;the Clerk of this Board is hereby directed to endorse upon
<br />said map said acceptance. `
<br />And be it further resolved,that this resolution be adopted and this map be accepted
<br />upon and subject to the express condition that the :Town of Redwood City does not hereby
<br />become responsible or liable for any cost,charge or expense either for grading, macadam-
<br />ixing',or for any other road purpose aEb to said street,this condition as to the incurring
<br />Of costs,charges or expenses being left to the discretion of future Boards of Trustees,no
<br />one of said Boards of Trustees, or any member thereof or said Town of Redwood City,
<br />shall
<br />ever be liable to damages in any sum or amount arising by or throughb any defect of any
<br />kind in said street.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular
<br />adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 25th day of MaY,1910,by the following vote:
