<br />Trustee Hynding presented the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />Whereas T.C.Rice has made application to the Board of Trustees of the Town of Red
<br />wood City for an extension of. time to complete his contract with the Town of Redwood City
<br />dated. ]larch 22,1909,for work in Dingee Park.
<br />Now therefore be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that
<br />the time for completing the work in the contract between T.C.Rice and the Town of Redwood
<br />city dated March 2291909,for work in assessment district No. 13 be and the same is extendec
<br />up to and including the 30th day of June,1911..
<br />Passed and adopted by theBoardof Trustees this 17th day of October,1910.
<br />Trustee Brown,second.ed by Trustee Sampson,moved that the application of the United Gas
<br />and Blectric Company for permission to open Arguello Street from Rogers -Street to residence
<br />of Mr Loomis be granted. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brovm,moved that the application of the Pacific
<br />Tel.and Te1.Co.for permission to set 4--30 focat poles on Redwood Avenue be granted. Motion
<br />carried..
<br />Communication from the State Mining Bureau relative to the use of California materials
<br />in the construction of public buildings. Trustee Hynding,seconded by Trustee Beeger,moved

<br />be appointed to represent the Town of Redwood City at the oonvention of thQ League of Cali-
<br />fornia Municipalities at San: Diego, November 1910,atid the lnvitationof the Mayor of San
<br />Diego be accepted With thanks. Motion carried.
<br />y William Lasswell addressed the Board relative to a certain lot on Phelps Street Exten-
<br />sion,offering a quit -claim deed for $160.00.
<br />Trustee Brown, seconded by Trustee Hynding,moved the payment of progress payment -Of 75%•
<br />of contract amounting to 01650.00,to Moriarty & Perkins,on recommendation of Mr Leonard the
<br />engineer in charge of bridge; remaining 25% to be paid 30 days after completion of bridge.
