<br />Henry W. Walker addressed the Board relative ,to deed from School District for Phelps
<br />i
<br />street Extension,as follows:
<br />That at a meeting of the Board of Trustees of Redwood City School District of San Mateo
<br />County,held on October 1791910,a resolution thereof was duly passed calling a meeting of
<br />the qualified electors of said District for Friday,November 491910,to instruct the Board
<br />of Trustees of said School District as to whether or not,and for how much,said School Dis-
<br />trict should sell,to the Town of Redwood City,the strip of land of said District for the
<br />extension of Phelps Street through the school property.
<br />That such meeting of said electors of said School District was duly and regularly or-
<br />ganized and held on said Friday,November 491910,in accordance with notices of said meeting
<br />posted for the time and in the manner required by law,and at such meeting said qualified
<br />electors voted unanimously to sell,to said Town of Redwood City,for the purpose specified,
<br />in consideration of the sum of 0100.,the strip of land desired; that the Clerk of said
<br />School District and of said meeting has entered upon the minutes of. said School District a
<br />full,true and :correct record of the meeting of said School Trustees and of said qualified
<br />electors.
<br />That thereafter the Board of School Trustees of said District duly executed and ack-
<br />nowlea.ged deed of land desired,and requested him to deliver same to this.Board,which he now
<br />did.
<br />Trustee HYnding,seconded by Trustee Brown moved that the deed be accepted and warrant
<br />drawn,in favor of the school Trustees,on Phelps Street Extension Fund to the amount of $100.,
<br />for the payment of same.Motion carried by following vote: AYes,Trustees Brown ,HYnding,Samp-
<br />son,Merrill. Noes None. Absent Trustee Carl Beeger.
<br />The City Attorney presented deeds of property. to be acquired for the ,Extension of
<br />street from Mrs Johanna Offermann and A. M. Robertson, but same were referred back to have the
<br />full amount of the purchase price inserted in them,i.instead of the nominal sum of $10.
<br />The following application for acceptance of work,from 1IcGarveY.Hess & Kreiss.was receiv
<br />ed.

<br />To the Honorable Board. of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City:
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />Having; completed the macadamizing of Lowell,lAyrtle and Nevada streets in
<br />Assessment District No. 14 we hereby make application to have said work accepted.
