Motion carried. ` <br />Report of Lohman & Co. ,in the matter of a preliminary memorandum on the advisability <br />of substituting tungsten for are lamps in certain portions of the Redwood City Lighting <br />System. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved superintendent of streets be instructed <br />t <br />to make temporary improvements in the matter of culverts on Chestnut,Stambaugh,and other <br />streets,pending permanent improvements. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Brown seconded by Trustee Rice, moved• that property owners on Mound street be <br />directed to construct five (5) foot' cement sidewalks, ant ire length both sides of street, <br />where not laid at present. City Attorney instructed to notify property owners to that <br />effect. Motion carried. <br />I <br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that Superintendent of streets be in- <br />structed to run steam roller over concrete pavement on Stafford Stm t,to give same <br />thorough jolting by means of placing planks on street.
