<br />Mr.Ahren,Superintendent of Southern Pacific Railroad Coast Division,addressed the
<br />Board relative to proposed improvements along the right of way of eompany,in the matter of
<br />12 inch culvert on Chestnut Street to be installed. The number of new gates to be de-
<br />cided later,placing bells at certain crossings,temporary repairs to bridges and side-
<br />r
<br />walks,removal of Standard Oil tanks to the eastern part of Town,speed of trains through
<br />city limits,the stopping of certain trains that do not stop at the present time and other
<br />matters. No decided action was taken. The representatives of the Oompamy and Board to
<br />k
<br />go over right.of way at later date for final settlement of various questions.
<br />Mr Tuchsen,on behalf of Baldwin and Howell and Dingee Park owners, submitted a Map,
<br />prepared by their Engineer, showing about four (4) acres surrounding the reservoir,also a
<br />thirty (30) foot right of way from Nevada Street. Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,

<br />moved that a deed covering area shown bu furnished by grantors. Motion carried.

<br />Clerk reports receipt of 600 Maps of Town of Redwood City.

<br />City Engineer Neuman submitted report of Redwood Avenue Dist, No, 10. On motion of

<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,same was received and filed.
<br />Affidavit of D.E.O'Keefe ,publisher of Times -Gazette showing publication of Notice in
<br />the matter of Dingee Park Dist. No. 14. Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved
<br />that same be received,iand filed. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that Superintendent of Streets be
<br />in-structed
<br />to extend water main in Wellesley Park,from Edgewood Avenue to Somerset Street.

<br />Park,for water connection,be granted on payment of proper fee to Clerk. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Brown,moved that Superintendent of Streets be In-
<br />structed to roil Roosevelt Avenue with Steam Roller. Motion carried.

<br />structed to grade County Road,on each side,from Harrison Avenue eastward,and to use Bur -
<br />plus dirt to fill in Webster Street Bridge. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Rice,seconded by Trustee Beeger,moved that Superintendent of Streets be in-

<br />structed to put down cross-walks,plank or rock,in various parts of Town. Motion carried.
<br />The Town Marshall was instructed to collect $1.56 per quarter for each Box Ball
<br />Alley License.
