<br />105, closing McKinley Avenue,and portions of Cleveland, Blaine :.:'d Adams Streets., MQtion
<br />carried..
<br />Trustee Hynding presented the following resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />whereas,the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood Oity,by resolution passed and
<br />adopted on the 6th day of March ,1911,and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said
<br />Town of Redwood City,to which reference is hereby made and the same made a part hereof,
<br />did declare as follows, to -wit:
<br />1. That the public interest and convenience required that the roadways of certain
<br />streets and portions of streets designated and set forth in said resolution and situated
<br />and being in the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State of- Cp.lifornia,be graded to
<br />the, r..fficial grade for macadamizing and be macadamized and oiled.
<br />2. That the public interest and convenience required that culverts be constructed
<br />at the street iintersectlons set forth in said resolution.
<br />whereas,said Board of Trustees,in and by said rasolution,did refer to James V.Neuman,
<br />civil engineer,Who was by said resolution employed by said Board of Trustees,( there being
<br />no city or toval engineer of and for said town),the work hereir_before mentioned and pro-
<br />posed by said resolution for the purpose of doing and performing all acts required of the
<br />said civil engineer by the provisions of "The Local Improvement Act of .19o1't,and did in -
<br />struct said James V. Neuman,said civil engineer,to make.to said Board of Trustees a re-
<br />port in writing containing his recommendations as to the best methods of doing all of said
<br />work,and to attach to said report the exhibits referred to in aaird Ant- and
<br />Whereas, said James V. Neuman, said civil engineer did thereafter make to said Board
<br />of Trustees his said report in writing,in accordance with said resolution and the pro-
<br />visions of "The Local ImprovaLl; i.Z A',;t of 190111,containing his recommendatIons,.as to the,'
