:325 <br />Redwood City, Nov. ,6th.11911. 7-30 P.M. <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees was held at Town Hall. <br />At Roll call there were present President Merrlll,.Trustees aarl Beeger,Robert <br />Brown,O.J.Hynding,E.,H.Sampson and Town Clerk G.C.plump„ <br />The minutes of the meeting held Oct ..l6th,,191I,were read. <br />A motion by Trustee Hynding and seconded by Trustee Brown that they be approved <br />was carried. <br />The following communication from the United Gas & Electric 0Co. <br />was read. <br />To the Honorable Board of City Trustees,Redwood City,Cgl, <br />Gentlemen, <br />We understand that you are <br />contemplating the installation of a hot water heating system in the new City Hall <br />using either coal or oil f or fuel... In this connection we desire to state <br />that we have had very good success,, with gas along these lines and we will be <br />willing to install a low pressure boiler equipped with gas burnerson trial, same <br />to remain for ninety days.... If, at the end of that time, you are not satisfied <br />With the results we will remove the boiler. <br />Very truly yours <br />Signed A A.BraBg <br />Superintendent. <br />On motion of Trustees Hynding, seconded by Trustee Brown <br />this communication was received and filed.. <br />w 9 <br />3 <br />Geo.w.Lovie addressed the Board relative to the proposed street' <br />work in District 17. A motion introduced by Trustee Sampson, seconded by <br />Trustee Hynding that the matter be referred to the street Committee, to look <br />farther into the system proposed, was carried. <br />The matter of painting the fence posts on the retaining wall <br />on the County Road, was on motion of Trustee Hynding secd[nded by Trustee Brown, <br />and carried , referred to Trustee Beeger. <br />Dr.J.L.Ross, Health Officer of the Town of Redwood City,and <br />D elegate to the recent meeting of the League of Municipalities, addressed the <br />Board at length on matters of public health and what was accomplis hed at the <br />successful meeting. <br />Trustee Sampson reported on the Heating system for new Town Hall <br />and recommended the Not ifater system. The final plan to be accepted was laid <br />over until the next meeting owing to the proposition presented by the <br />United Gas & Electric Co. <br />Trustee Brown reported that he recommended that the Insurance of <br />#5000.00 on the New Town Hall be apportioned to the following Insurance Agents. <br />Mrs•Thorpe, Tdrs.M¢Oracken,and Geo.w.Lovie. A motion by Trustee Hynding seconded <br />by Trustee Sampson , that Trustee Brown of the Finance Committee be granted full <br />Power to act in the matter., was carried. <br />
