<br />, and upon motion of
<br />Trustee Hynding, seconded. by Trustee Deleau; and carried, the same were approved as read.
<br />The following communication from the Southern Pacific Railroad Company,
<br />Was read.
<br />Board of Trustees,
<br />Redwood City, California,
<br />Gentlemen:
<br />May, Sth., 1912.
<br />This will constitute the acceptance of the
<br />Pacific Company , to the terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 1149 published on May, 4th.
<br />1912, granting to this Company, the right to construct, maintain and operate railroad
<br />tracks upon three certain strips of ground adjoining our present right of way, as enumerat
<br />therein.

<br />Trustee Hynding moved that the communication be received and filed. Motion
<br />seconded by Trustee Deleau and carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding moved that Electrical Engineer Werder be authorized to extend
<br />the lighting system and install one light near the Cemetery gate on the Woodside road.
<br />This motion was seconded. by Trustee Deleau and carried.
<br />Trustee Hynding presented the following resolution and moved its adoption.
<br />-° RESOLVID:
<br />Hy the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that the sub -grade for
<br />macadamizing the following named streets and avenues, situated and being in the Town of
<br />Redwood City, to -wit: Alden Street, Brewster Avenue, Fuller street, Bradford
<br />Street, Marshall Street , Winslow Street, Hamilton Street, Webster Street, Warren
<br />Street, Allerton Street, East Ddarshall,Street, East Bradford Street, East Fuller Street,
<br />and Washington Street, be, and the same is, hereby fixed and established for each of said
<br />streets at five (5) inches below the official grade of said streets respectively,
<br />as said grades have been heretofore established by said Board of Trustees.
<br />And it is further resolved by said Board of Trustees, that the width of the
<br />roadway of said Alden Street, Brewster Avenue, Fuller Street, Bradford Street, Marshall
<br />Street, Winslow Street, Hamilton Street, Webster Street, Warren Street, Allerton street,
<br />East Marshall Street, East Bradford Street, East Fuller Street and Washington Street,
<br />be, and the same is, hereby fixedand established at fifty-six (56) feet for each of said
<br />'treat' and avenues, and to be twenty-eight (26) feet on each side of the center line the
<br />And be it further resolved by said Board of Trustees that the remaining portio
<br />in width of said Alden Street, Brewster Avenue, Fuller Street, BradfOrb Street, Marshall
<br />Street, Winslow Street, Hamilton street, Webster street, Warren Street,.Alierton streets
<br />East Marshall Street,East Bradford Street, East Fuller street and Washington street,
<br />shall be, and the same are, here
<br />otleach side of the roadway of said streets and avenues,
<br />apart as and for, and shall be devoted to curbs and sidewalks.
