<br />The regula�n�ing of the Board of Town Trustees was held,
<br />upon roll call there were present, Trustees, Pres.Geo.A.Merrill,, Geo.A.Deleau,
<br />J.J.Hahir, C.J.Hynd.ing, E.H.Sampson And Town Clerk, G.C.Plump.
<br />An application from Nelson Andrews for permission to connect with sewer on
<br />Birch Street, across 17hipple Avenue, at his own expense, was granted, upon motion of Trust
<br />Hynding, seconded by Trustee Hahir and carried.
<br />The report of the Finance Committee, with recommendations relative to the appoin
<br />appointing of the following tax-paYers as members of an Advisory Assessment Board, eras, t,p
<br />upon motion of Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee Deleau, and carried, accepted and file
<br />Names of Appointees. Geo.w.Lovie, Mark Felton, 1M.Jamieson, E.J.Fowler,
<br />John Poole Jr., A.S.Kalenborn, H.W.Sehaberg.
<br />A motion introduced by Trustee HYnding, seconded by Trustee Sampson and carriec,
<br />authorized the Clerk to invite bids.for Switch Board, on specifications to be prepared
<br />by mechanical Engineer Terder.
<br />A meeting between the Board of School Trustees and the Board of Town Trustees
<br />was set for June 3rd. 1912.
<br />The following is the contract between the Town of Redwood Cit;
<br />and the Pacific Gas & Electric Co., relative to sale of electric energy for street lightJng.
<br />THIS AGREEMENT, made by and between the PACIM C GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY, a
<br />corporation duly. organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of
<br />California, and having Its 'office and principal place of business in the City and County
<br />of San Francisco. State aforesaid, hereinafter tailed the"Power Company, and the Town of
<br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation. duly created and existing under and by virtue of
<br />the laws of the State of California, and situate in the County of San Mateo, hereinafter
<br />called the "Consumer", WITNESSETH,
<br />That the Power Company, for and in consid.er�tion of the promis(
<br />of the Consumer herein contained, does hereby promise and agree to and with the Consumer
<br />to sell furnish and deliver to the Consumer, and the Consumer, in consideration of the
<br />promises of the PoWer:Gompany herein contained ,does hereby promise and agree to and
<br />with the Power CbmpanY, to purchase and receive from the Power Company, and to pay tb tliF:
<br />Power Company for, electric energy during the term, at the price and upon the terms and
<br />conditions specified and set forth as follows, viz:
<br />ALL ELPCTRIC ENERGY to be delivered and received pursuant to the provisions of this
<br />contract shall be what is commonly designated as single or three phase, sixty (60) cycle
<br />alternating current,delivered at an electro -motive force of twenty-three hundred (2300) "Olts,
<br />or,at the Power �ompanyls option, three phase, sixty (60) cycle alternating current,
<br />delivered at electro -motive force of approximately four thoilsand (4000) volt's, star connected
<br />slight variation's in frequency and electro -motive force to be allowed.
<br />The Power Company shall furnish, inspect, test and keep in repair, all meters 1911011
<br />may be required for measuring in terms of kilo -watt hours, the amount of the energy
<br />delivered under this contract,and shall Anstall such meters at the Switchboard of the
<br />Consumer to be installed by the latter in its new Town. Hall in Redwood City, and the
<br />Consumer shall have the right at any time to inspect and test such meters, in the
<br />presence of a representative of the Power Company appointed for that purpose, upon
<br />giving th-e Power Company two (2) day's written notice.
