<br />WHEREAS,
<br />the parties hereto, heretofore entered into and executed
<br />e the 14th. day of July, 1909, wherein and whereby,
<br />a written agreement, bearing dat
<br />upon thr terms and conditions therein set forth, the said Pacific Gas & Electric Company
<br />granted to the said Town of Redwood CitY, the right to maintain upon the poles of
<br />said Pacific Gas & Electric Company's electric distributing line on Main Street between
<br />Heller Street and Bridge Street (sometimes called Broadway): on Bridge Street,
<br />between Main Street and Washington (formerly First) Street, on East Marshall (formerly B)
<br />Street, between Webster (formerly Second) Street,and WinsloW (formerly Fourth) Street,
<br />on Rogers (formerly Fourteenth) Street, between Arguello and Stafford Streets, and on
<br />Stafford Street between Rogers (formerly Fourteenth) Street, and lamp number thirty—
<br />eight (39), at Finger's Bridge, all in the said Town of Redwood City, the Wires as the spume
<br />have heretofore been maintained on said poles by said Town of Redwood City, with the
<br />consent of the said Pacific Gas & Electric Company; and
<br />WHEREAS,
<br />the said Town of Redwood City, in and by said agreement
<br />granted to said. Pacific Gas•&•Electric Company the rigrit to maintain upon the poles
<br />of the said Town of Redwood City's electric transmission line on Roosevelt Avenue in
<br />said Town, South of the County 'Road, the wires ans Transformers of said Pacific Gas & E1 :1tric
<br />Company as the same had been theretofore maintained on said poles by said Pactfic Gas &
<br />Electric CcupanY with the consent of said Town, said grant to be revocable by said
<br />Town of Redwood City, upon six (6) month's written notice; and

<br />WHEREAS,
<br />each of the parties hereto may, from time to time, desire
<br />to install , maintain and use its wires and other appliances upon poles constituting
<br />part of the lines of the other party, other than those portions of said lines which
<br />are covered by said agreement heretofore mentioned; and,
<br />WFiEREkS,
<br />It is deemed inconvenient that a separate agreement be
<br />executed between the parties hereto in each instance where a license to use poles of
<br />either party hereto shall be. given to the other party,
<br />NOW THEREFORE, THIS AGREEMENT WITNEoSETH that,
<br />for and in consideration of the
<br />premises and of the promises and covenants of the parties hereto herein contained,
<br />It is Mutually Understood and Agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows, viz:
<br />1. whenever either party hereto shall desire to install, maintain and
<br />use wires , transformers or other electrical appliances, together with the necessary
<br />fixturesm upon any of the poles of the other party's lines , except those covered
<br />by said, agreement of July 14th.,1909, as hereinbefore mentioned, the former shall firsti
<br />make written application to the Engineer -or Superintendent of such other party having charCe
<br />of such poles, requesting such permission and setting; forth in such application the number
