395 Trustee Hynding -introduced the following resolution and moved its seconded by Trustee Hahir. RESOLUTION PROPOSITION "D" BOND ISSUE. }JEREAS , at a regular meeting of this Board field on the 15th.day of Apr11,1912, this Board did canvas the returns of the special election held in the Town of Redwood City on the 5th. day of April 11912, at which election the following proposition, to incur indebtedness of said Town were submitted to ;the qualified voters thereof, to -wit: (A) The proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of $5000 for the o bject and purrose of paYIr1 the cost of doing certain street work in said Town; as set forth and described in Subdivision (A). Section. 11 of this Ordinance, and to issue the bonds of said Town therefor as herein set forth. (B) The proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of $20,000 for the object and purpose of paying the cost Of doing certain street work in said TOYm, as set forth and described in subdivision (B) of Section 11 of this Ordinance, and to issue the bonds of said .Town therefor as herein set forth. (C) The proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of 0,000 for the object 'and purpose of paYingr the cost of fire apparatus for public protection against fire, as set fo^t-,,, in Subdivision ( C) of Section 11 of this Ordinance, and to issue the bonds of said Town therefor as herein set forth. (D) The proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of $5,000 for the object and purpose of paying the cost of improvinf and extending the municipal electric system of street lighting, as set forth in Subdivision (0) of Section 11 of this Ordinance, and to issue the bonds of said Town therefor as herein set forth. AND WHEREAS) said Board did at said meeting canvas the votes cast at said election and did determine and adjudge the number of votes cast in favor of, and those cast a:ainst each of said propositions, all as set forth in the Minutes of said meeting, and did declare that said propositions; A, B•, and D had each received thenecessarY number Of votes, and were each carried, and a bonded indebtedness .for each of the purposes in said. propositions A, B and D set forth respectively was duly authorized by the electors Of said Town; and that said Proposition C had failed to receive the necessary number of votes , and bonded indebtedness for• the purpose set forth in said proposition 0 was not authorized by the electors of said .T,03M-;_. - -- - AND WHEREAS, the whole number of voters voting at said special election wus five hundred, and 323 votes were cast in favor of said Proposition "D" and 147 votes were cast against said Proposition "D"; AND WHEREAS, said Proposition received more than two-thirds of the votes car thereon, but failed to receive the votes of ttvo thirds of all the voters Voting at said, special election; BE IT RESOLVED," and each of them were carried that said Propositions "A" and "B by the votes of more than two-thirds of all the voters voting at said special election and that a bonded indebtedness for the purposer set forth in said Propositions "A" and "B" and each of them, was, and is duly authorized by the electors of said Town; and said Propositions "C" abd "D" and each of them , failed to receive tilevotes of xwo- ' and a bonded indebtedness thirds of all the voters voting at said special election for the purposes � id Propositions "C" and "D"9 and each of triem, was not set forth in said ,W
