<br />The regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Town Tru;3tees was held.
<br />Upon roll tali there were present, Trustees Geo.A.Deleau, J.J.Hahir, C.J.HYnding
<br />E.H.Sampson and Town Clerkc, G.C.Plump. Absent, Trustee G.A.Merr111.
<br />In the absence of Pres.Merrill, Trustee Hahir moved, seconded by Trustee Deleau,
<br />that Trustee Sampson, be appointed as temporary Chairman, Motion carried.
<br />A communication was read from Bonita Parlor # 10, N.S.G.W., requesting the Town
<br />to have the flag raised on California Square on proper occasions. On igotion of Trustee
<br />Hahir, seconded by Trustee Hynding and carried, the matter was referred to Supt. of
<br />Streets Dickey, who was ordered to have the flag raised on all proper occasions.
<br />The petition of property owners on Mound Street, requesting that the name of sand
<br />street be changed to Main Street , was on motion of Trustee Hynding, seconded and carried,
<br />postponed until the next regulaf meeting.
<br />Mr.A.Hess, Contractor, who had bid on street work, asked the Board to be allowec
<br />to withdraw his bid on street intersections.
<br />On notion of Trustee HYnding, seconded
<br />by Trustee Deleau and carried, Mr.Hess was allowed to withdraw said bid.

<br />The following communication from A.Teiehert & Son, was read.
<br />Honorable Board of Trustees,
<br />San Francisco, Cal. July 16th.,1912.
<br />Redwood City Cal.,
<br />With regard to the intersection work, it is perfectly agreeable to me to
<br />construct this work at the price that Mr:Hess bid in on the same.
<br />We have had a conversation with him since the bids were opened, in which I have
<br />made arrangements to use the rock for which he is agent, and therefore he is willing to
<br />let me have the intersection contract at his figure.
<br />Hoping that this will be acceptable to the Board, we remain,

<br />Trustee Hyndink moved, seconded by Trustee Deleau, that the contract for Street
<br />intersection work, be allowed to A.Teichert & Son, at Mr.Hess's figures, namely , 8 10
<br />cents per square Poot. Motion carried by the following vote,
<br />Ayes, Trustees, Deleau.'Hahir, Hynding and Sampson.
<br />Noes, Trustees, None,
<br />Absent, Trustee Merrill.
<br />The following Resolution of Award No.l, was introduced by Trustee HYnding,
<br />who moved its adoption.

<br />the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,did, in open session
<br />on the 15th, day of July, 1912) publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals
<br />Or bids for doing the following work in said Town, to -wit:
<br />The grading macadamizing and oiling of the following streets and avenues and
<br />portions of streets and avenues in said Town of Redwood City between the curb lines ther3of
<br />to -wit:
<br />Alden Street from the eastern line of Arguello Street, to the eastern line of Allertop
<br />Street,, excluding ail* street intersections.
<br />Brewster Avenue from the eastern line of Arguello Street , to the eastern line
<br />of Allerton Street , excluding all street intersections.
<br />Fuller street, from the eastern line of Arguello Street , to the eastern line
<br />of Eaton street, excluding all street intersections. I r
