434 <br />Redwood City, Dec. 2nd -. 11912* <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees was held. <br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees, Pres.aeo.A.Merrill. Geo.A.Deleau, <br />J.J.Hahir, C.J.Hynding, E.H.Sampson and Town Clerk, G.O.PLump. <br />The minutes of the meeting held Nov. 18th. were.re4d and upon motion of Trustee <br />Hahir, seconded by Trustee Hynding, the same were approved as read. <br />A communication was read from Mrs.Llgouri , relative to the Pound Master taking <br />up three horses and charging #7.50 fees. she asked the Board to refund the money as <br />the horses were at large on property used by the Town for disposal of garbage, and that <br />the gates were probabik left open by some one other than the owner. <br />Trustee HUnding maved that the matter be referred to the City Attorney, Who is to take•eel& <br />some action with the 'Attorney for the Board of Trade, in the matter of keeping the gate <br />locked and to see that all merchants have a key to said gate. Motion seconded by Trustees <br />Hahir and carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Hahir, seconded by. Truatee Hynding, and carried, the Clerk <br />was authorized tp purchase Red Cross Stamps to the amount of five dollars. <br />A communication was read from Hind & Langley and Thomas Tuite, complaining of <br />nuisance on•Main Street caused by oil burning stoves in hotels. No action was taken <br />as the Board wanted tb look further into the matter of stopping the nuisance. <br />Mr.Braslan , representative of the Neptune water Meter Oo.m was granted permission <br />to furnish City Machanic with five water.meters.On trial, to be tested and under no W:1 <br />obligation to the purchaser. <br />Trustee Hynding recommended that proceedings be started , in what was known as <br />District # 1.6, to macadamize and oil the streets. The matter was referred to Supt. of <br />Streets Diekey,.to block out a preliminary map of streets to be improved. <br />On motion of Trustee Hahir, seconded by Trustee Hynding and carried, IM.UYers was <br />granted permission to use the Town Hall for meeting purpose to.organize a Boy Scout Oomparg, <br />Pres. Merrill presented a deed to certain parcel of land from Southern Pacific <br />Railroad Co., near what would be the extension of Hamiltion Street and S.P.R.R.Right of <br />way. On motion of SrustesHYnding, seconded. by Trustee Deleau, and carried, the dead <br />was accepted. <br />On motion of Trustee Sampson, seconded by Trustee Hynding and carried, Wednesday <br />Dec. 11th., at 8 o'clock P.M. was the time set for election of Fire Department Officials, <br />The Committee on Public works was asked to submit plans for a Fire House on County <br />Road near Jefferson Street. <br />On motion of Trustee Deleau, seconded by Trustee Hynding, and carried, the <br />Treasurer was authorized to transfer $500.00 from the General Fund to Park Fund. <br />On motion of Trustee Hahir, seconded by Trustee Hynding and carried, the City <br />Attorney was directed to take up the matter of train se trice with the Railroad Company. <br />ORDINANOE NO. 125. <br />"An Ordinance rekulatIAg the establishment of Public Laundries, <br />Trustee Deleau, moved Its adoption, seconded by Trustee Hahir.
