<br />Redwood City, April 30th, 1913, 8 o'clock P.M.
<br />The regular adjourned meeting Of.the Board of Town Trustees was held.
<br />Upon roil call there were present, Trust eeq,.Qeo.A.Deleau, Jos.J.Hahir, E.H.Sampsai and
<br />and Town Clerk. a.4.Piump. Absent, Trustees, Pres,Geo.A.Merriii and C.J.Hynding.
<br />In the absence of Pres.Merriil the meeting was, called to order by the Town Clerk,
<br />G.0.Plump. Trust ;e Hahir moved, seconded by Trustee Deleau, that Trustee Sampson be appointed
<br />pres, pro tem. Motion carried.
<br />A number of residents of Dingee Park, property owners there, were present in the
<br />matter of placing street lights as proposed in the reconstruction of the Street Lighting
<br />system. Owing to the illness of the City Electrician, and the chart being in preparation
<br />the matter was laid over for further consideration.
<br />Jens Hansen addrmssed the Board relative to the proper manner of operating the
<br />flood gates , to get the best results, from- his point of view , and the matter was taken
<br />under advisement by the Board.
<br />Upon motion of Trustee Hahir,•seconded by Trustee Deleau and carried, the Clark
<br />was instruebed to notify liquor dealers not to give nor sell liquor to Fred Leist.
<br />Upon motion of -Trustee Deleau, second0d by Trustee Hahir and carried, the clerk was
<br />authari2ed to invite bids for 400 feet of cotton rubber -lined , 2.} inch fire hose with
<br />coupling; bidders to submit samples.
<br />Trustee Deleau introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption, seconde4
<br />by Trustee Hahir.
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
<br />RESOLVED,
<br />that the{IThwn Engineer of the mown of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State
<br />of California, be, and he is hereby ordered to prepare plans and speoifications and estimates
<br />for the constriction of artificial stone sidewalks and artificial stone curbs upon Jackson avenue
<br />Madison Avenue, Monroe Avenue, Franklin Street and Maple Street in Diller's Addition to the Town
<br />of Redwood City, and upon Elm Street. Beech Street, Cedar Street, Chestnut Street,, pine Street
<br />and Lathrop Street in Hancock's Addition to the Town of Redwood City, and aP8A- also upon
<br />Maple Street, Elm Street, Oassia Street, Beech street, Cedar street , Chestnut Street ,
<br />pine Street, Buckeye Street, Spruce Street, Manzanita Street, Hancock Street, Cooper Streat„
<br />Hailer Street, Phelps street and Stambaugh Street in the Eastern Addition to the Town of
<br />Redwood City, and also upon Chestnut street, Cassia Street, Maple Street, walnut Street,
<br />and Holder Street, in Sweeney's Addition to the Town of Redwood City*
