<br />1 Regular Meeting of Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon Roll call there were present,Trustees,President,E.H.Sampeon,Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W,
<br />Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tucheen, Town C1erk,W.A.Price.
<br />Communication from City Engineer Finlay recommending that the culverts at East Brewster
<br />Avenue,under the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's tracks be installed at this time to
<br />care for the drainage which goes down East Brewster Avenu$ was received and filed, the ale
<br />was authorized.to communicate with the Southern Pacific Railroad Company in rQgardfl to same,
<br />on motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the Municipal Federation of San Francisco favoring the establishment of
<br />some system of borough and consolidated goverment for San Francisco and adjacent territory
<br />on both side of San Francisco Bay was read Trustee Tuchsen moved,seconded by Trustee
<br />• a committee of three be appointed to meet with the respective bodies,Motion UarriedsPre
<br />E.H.Sampson appointed the following committee,Trustees,H,C.Tuehsen,Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W.
<br />Mc Nulty.
<br />Communication from the Anglo -California -Trust Company advising the,Board that the J.J.
<br />Schnerr had on April 30th.19161 transferred all his rights,title, and interest of his contra(
<br />for the construction of the chemical sngine and hose wagon,was received and placed on file.
<br />The application for plumber's license and bond submitted of A.C.Anderson was granted on
<br />motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the California Ripe Olive Day Assn.of Oroville was read and placed on
<br />file.
<br />Communication from E.Bendel,Chairman Light Committee,City of Marshfield ,Oregon,asking for
<br />information as tD the cost of electricity in this City was referred to the City Electrician,
<br />On motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, a claim of Twenty one (� 2I.00)
<br />dollars additional premium,be allowed the State Compensation Insurance Fund,T,Iotion Carried.
<br />i The affidavits of J.D.Hedge in the matter of publishing "Notice to Bidders" for 1000 feet
<br />of 22 Standard Fire Hose and 400 feet IE Standard Fire Hose, also Furnishing,delivered and
<br />I
<br />in place 3500 ou,yds,of filling for Webster Street(formwrly Center Street) between Main and
<br />Washington Street was received and filed on motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee
<br />Tuchsen,Motion Carried.
