Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Ma.bie,H.C.Tuchsen, Town Clerk,iY.A.Price, Communication from E. B. Fox, soliciting the Fire Insurance upon the New Chemical and Hose Wagon,was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Merrill referred to the finance Committee to report on at next meeting,11otion Carried. Communication from State Compensation Insurance Fund in regard to final report of City Electrician Mark E,Ryan was received and placed on file. Communication from the league of California Municipalities was read and placed on file. Communication from the Central labor Union of San Mateo County to increase the wages of City laborers in the next budget from $ 2.50 to " 3.00 per day of eight hours was on motion of Trustee Merrill,seoonded by Trustee Tuchsen placed on file for further consideration, Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Marrill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen Supt.of Streets was directed to remove a dead tree from the middle pf the street at Lathrop and Chesnut Streets,Motion Carrio d On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Merrill,Supt. of Streets authorized to purchase 68 feet of 16 inch Vitrified Pipe to extend the storm sewer on Webster Street (formerly Center Street) Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie,Supt.of Streets be instructed to put a man -hole at Charter and Heller Streets.Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tucheen,Supt.of Streets be instructed to fix the street at Bradford and Washington Streets,Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, Mr.E.G.Finley be advanced the amounts of 0 76.25 and 4 62.50,same to be deduced from any amount that may be allowed him on account of outstanding claims,Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the building now used as a Kindergarten be put in shape to be used as offices for the Supt. of Streets and the City Engineer, the cost of same to be reported on by the committee of Public Works,Iulotion Carried The new proposed Water Rates was referred to.the Committee of Public Works to report at next meeting.
