<br />Applicc.tion from Pacific Gas & Electric Company to make contacts on two City poles or.
<br />Junipero Street, as shown on blue print #660, was on motion of Trustee Tuohsen,saeonded by
<br />Trustee Mc.Nulty granted.
<br />Communication from Geo.H,Irving in regard to revision of Water Rates to large consumers
<br />was received and filed.
<br />Communication from Round Up Association of San Jose asking permission to suspend a
<br />banner across the street,was on motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee Mo.Nulty
<br />granted, same to be suspended across E1 Camino Real at Five Points and under the supervi.sic
<br />of Supt. of Streets, Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the Chicago Artificial Flower Company was received and filed.
<br />Communication from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, relative to the hours of service of
<br />any City employee upon any public work was on motion of Trustee Merrill 'seconded by Trusts
<br />Mabie referred to the Clerk with instructions to inform the Bureau, the laws were being
<br />complied with in this City,
<br />Communication from James Logan and Jos.A.Roza asking for a permit to hold an all night ball
<br />in Foresters Hall on July Ist.1916, was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by
<br />trustee McNulty.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mc Nulty the Clerk be instrueed to
<br />answer letter of recommendation of Southemn Pacific Railroad following up the culvert work
<br />to be done.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mabie the Cullen Bet4teowere allowed a
<br />rebate of 0 2.15 on water bill,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, that Daley & Me.Zenzie
<br />be allowed a rebate of 06.I0 on their water bill* motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen and carried that E.B.Fox be awarded
<br />the fire Insurance in the amount of 5000 on the new Chemical engine and Hose Wagon, the
<br />policy to take affect upon the arrival of same.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen, and seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried that J. J.Schner
<br />be granted until MOndsy June 26th.1916 to deliver the new Chemical Engine and Hose Wagon.
<br />Monthly report of Town Clerk,Marshall, Town Treasurer and Supt of Streets were received
<br />and filed on motion of Trustee Mc Nulty, seconded by Trustee Tdrehsen.
<br />Treasurer report shows cash on hand in General Fund � 3899.38,Water Fund $ I403.22
<br />Upon motion of Trustee Mc.Nu.lty, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen that J.C.Diekie be granted a
<br />permit to move a building from Marshall arid Hamilton Streets to Bradford and Warren Streets
<br />j Motion Carried.
