Redwood City,.June I2th.1916,8'clook P.N. <br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees, President E.H. Sampson,Geo.A.Merrill, Geo.W.Mc. <br />gulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tucheen,Town Clerk,W.A.Price. <br />On motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the minutes of June 5th.1916 <br />be suspended. <br />Communioation from the Trustees of the Grammer School calling the Boards attention to the <br />unsatisfactory condition of the drinking fountain in front of the Grammmer Sohool,the clerk <br />was instructed to notify the School Trustees that it would be painted and put in shape, also <br />requesting them to have the janitor of said school have mouth pieces kept clean. <br />Communication from,C.Cuseen in regard to having a $ 2.00 fine returned him from the <br />Poundmaster was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mo.Nulty, and amended by <br />Trustee Merrill, the Poundmaster be ordered to pay back to Mr.Cussen the $ 2.00 fine col - <br />looted for taking up 19f* horse and also instruct him to appear before the Board at next <br />meeting July 19th.1916-Motion Carried. <br />Communication from California -Round -Up Association, was received and placed on file. <br />Communication from Francis H. Mc Cullagh-los Gatos calling the Attention of the Board <br />to the sink in the Highway, near Vera Avg, was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by <br />Trustee Mo.Nulty, the clerk to notify Mr.Mo.Cullagh that the fault was with the County and <br />the matter would be taken up with the Supervisors to have name put in proper shape. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuohsen, seconded by Trustee Mo.Nulty, the request of City Engineer Finlay <br />be granted in establishing IO foot sidewalks, amd a jO foot street of all 50 foot streets, <br />and avenues in Oak Manor lying within the City limits of the Town of Redwood City,Motion <br />Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Tucheen, seconded by Trustee Mo.Nulty, the curb line on Webster Streets <br />(formerly Center Street)be established for I2 foot sidewalke,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from City Engineer Finlay regarding the matter of,combining the office of the <br />City Engineer and Supt. of Streets was referred to the Finance Committee, with the under- <br />standing that a copy be sent to each Trustee. <br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mabie the City Attorney be instructed <br />to draw up an amendment to the Fire Ordinance, regulating the storage and.heating of crude <br />oil,,Mgtion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuohsen, seconded by Trustee Mc,Nulty the map presented by City Engineer <br />Finlay showing official street lines for Melrose Place, Woodstock Place,and portions of <br />Edgewood and Arlington Roads -Wellesley Park be filed with the Town Clerk as the official <br />map -Motion Carried. <br />RESOLUTION LOCATING ARLINGTON ROAD. <br />Trustee Tuchsen presents than following Resolution and moves its adoption. <br />WgREAS,: there, is situated in the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, Sthte of <br />California, a certain road or street known as and called Arlington Road; and <br />WHEREAS, it is difficult frornthe map of the subdivision wherein is situated Arlington <br />Road to definitely define the lines thereof by reason of the fact that said map has no <br />radius of the curves thereon; and <br />WHEREAS, said Arlington Road is 70 feet in width as shown on the Map of Wellesley Park, <br />filed lov.26th.1888, in Book B of Maps at page 37, Records of San Mateo County, said Map <br />being the map upon which said Arlington Road was dedicated to public use, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that <br />the following described strip of land in Wellesley Park in the Town of Redwood City,County <br />I <br />0 <br />
