<br />An Ordinance Closing and Vacating a portion of Monroe Avenue in the Town of Redwood City,,
<br />Intrdduced.July 17th.1916-Trustee Merrill, MOYdd seconded by Trustee Mo,Nulty the adoption
<br />of ORDINANCE No-171.Motion Carriedl by the following vote; Ayes,Trustees,
<br />Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W.Nulty,Carl-K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,E.H.Sampson.

<br />On motion of Trustee Tucheen,seeonded by Trustee Mo.Nulty the deed presented by John
<br />Horstman Company regarding Monroe Avenue -be accepted and said deed be recorded by the clerk
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Merrill, the following RESOLUTION of the
<br />John Horstman Company be adopted with the understanding that oars are not allowed to stand
<br />• r
<br />on the street.
<br />- RESOLUTION -
<br />WHEREAS, the John Horstmann Company, a corporation, will become the owners of and
<br />establish a factory on certain lands in the Diller's Addition to the Town of Redwood GVY,,
<br />and
<br />n be
<br />WHEREAS, it appears convenient and necessary that a spur track privelege/doquired by
<br />said Company;
<br />NOW THEREFOR' BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />that the John Horstmann Company, a corporation, its successors and assigUs, be, and it is
<br />hereby granted the privelege of constructing and maintaining a spar track with the right
<br />to transport thereon railroad cars for the transaction of its business9said spur track to
<br />run from the main line of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company across Lots I,6 and 7 in
<br />'Block 7,across Monroe Avenue from the Easterly line of Lot I in Blick 7 to Block 6;and
<br />also the right to cross Franklin Street from Block 6 to Blocks 14 and 15,of Dillers Additia
<br />to the Town of Redwood City; and said spur track to be constructed,maintained and operated
<br />in accordance with the requirements of the Engineering and Bperating departments of the
<br />Southern Pacific Railroad Comapny.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, at a regular

<br />adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 24th.day of July,1916,by the following vote;
