On motion of Trustee I4errill,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,the Clerk be instructed to pur- <br />chase 3 Corey Fire hydrants and the Supt.of Streets to install one of the hydrants at the <br />corner of King Street and Brewster Avenue,Motion Carried. <br />Affidavits of D.E.O'Keefe-Albert Mansfield -and J.C.Dickey in the matter of PUBLISHING and <br />POSTING RESOLUTION of INTENTION No.31-was on motion of Trustee Merrill,seconded by Trustee <br />Tuchsen same be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Merrill presents the following RESOLUTION and moves its adoption,Trustee Tuchsen <br />seconds the motion, <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK No.31. <br />Resolved, that whereas the Board of 'Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did on the 17th. <br />day of July,1916,pass its RESOLUTION of INTENTION N0.31 to order the hereinafter described <br />work to beddone and improvements to be made in said Town,which RESOLUTION of INRENTION NO 31' <br />was duly and legally published as required by law,as appears from the affidaxit of D.E. <br />O'Keefe now on file in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of said Town of Redwood <br />City; and <br />WHERFS.S,notices of the passage of said RESOLUTION of INTENTION No.31,headed NOTICE of <br />IMPROVEMENT were duly posted along the line of said contemplated improvement and in front of <br />all the property liable to be assessed therefor, in form and manner as required by law,as <br />appears from the affadivits of J.C.Dickey, Superintendent of said Town of Redwood City and <br />Albert Mansfield; and <br />WHEREAS,it appears from the adfidavits of J.C.Dickey and said Albert Mansfield that said <br />notices If improvement were posted and said posting completed more that ten days before the <br />7th.day of August,1916,the day for hearing protests against said work and improvements ;and <br />WHEREAS,in siad Resolution of Intention No.31 and in said Notice of Improvement as posted <br />as aforesaid notice was given that August 7th,1916,at the hour of 810'elock.P.M, of said <br />,day at the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City in the Town, <br />Hall on Webster Street in said Town was the day,hour and place when and whare any and all <br />persond having any objections to the proposed work and improvements described in said <br />RESOLUTION of INTENTION No.31 and said Notice oif Improvement could appear before the Board <br />of Trustees and show cause why said described and improvements should not be carried out in <br />accordance with Resolution of Intention No.31;and <br />Whereasgat said day,hour and place no persons appeared and no objections of any kind <br />were made against said work and improvements described in said Resmlution No.31 now therefore <br />be it <br />RESOLVED,that the public interest and convenience require the work herein described,and the <br />Board of Trustees If the Town of Redwood City hereby orders the following work to be done <br />and improvements to br made in said Tmwn of Redwood City,to-wit; <br />I <br />i <br />
