<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town 'Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll mall there were present Trustees,President,E.H.Sampson,Geo.71. IvIc.Nulty,Carl'
<br />K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,Town C1erk,W.A.Price,Absent,Trustee Geo'.A.Merrill.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held October 16th.2gI6 and the adjourned meeting held October
<br />23rd-1916,were read,and on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie same be
<br />approved as read,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from T.Ahern,Supt. of the Southern Pacific Railroad,Company in regards to
<br />the culvert at East Brewster Avenue was reeeived and filed.
<br />Trustee Tuchsen presents the f6llowing Resolution and moves its adoption,` Trustee Me.

<br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS UNDER RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO 32,and dropping Proceed-
<br />ings.
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City received certain bids or
<br />proposals for doing the work described in Resolution of Intention No -32 on the 23rd,day
<br />of Oetober,1916, at the hour of 7.30 o'clock P.M. of said day as ordered by the Resolution
<br />Ordering the Work No -32 passed and adopted by said Board of Trustees on the 25th.day of
<br />September,1916, and
<br />WHEREAS,all the bids so received as aforesaid greatly exceeded the estimatd he•reto-
<br />fore made for said work by the City Engineer of said Town of Redwood City,E.G.Finlay,and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City continued the hearing on
<br />said bids or proposals so received as aforesaid until the 6th.day of Bovember,1916,at th-e
<br />hour of 7.30.P -M- of said day, and
<br />WHEREAS,it appears to said Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City that the
<br />public interest require all the bids so received as aforesaid to be rejected,
<br />IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED by the BOARD OF TRUSTE7S OF THE TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY that all
<br />the 'bids heretofore received by. said Board of Trustees for the doing of the work'described
<br />in Resolution of Intention No -32 be and the same are hereby rejected and the Clerk of said
<br />Town of Reftood City is hereby ordered and instructed to return to said bidders their
<br />respective certified checks, and that all proceedings for the doing of the work ordered
<br />and described in said Resolution of Intention No.32,which Resolution of Intention No -32
<br />is now on file in the office of the Town Clerk of said Town of Redwood City be and the
<br />same is dropped and discontinued.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Aedwood Vity at a regular
<br />meeting of said BoardAon the 6th.day of November,1916, by the following vote;
<br />Ayes and in fever of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees,
<br />Geo,W,Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,E.H.Sampson.
