<br />Regular -Meeting of the•Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President,E.H.Sampson,Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W.
<br />Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,Town C1erk,W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of the regular meeting held February 19th.1917 were read and on motion of
<br />Trustee Tuehsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty same be approved as read,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from State Senator M.B.Johnson and Assemblyman F.L.Eskward in reference
<br />to bills before the Legislature was on motion of Trustee Tucheen,seconaed by Trustee Me.,
<br />Nulty same be received and filed,Motion Carried.
<br />Application from the Young Bachelors Club fpr permission to hold an all night dance on
<br />Saturday night April 28th.1917,was.on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Merrill
<br />same be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />A petition from members of the Redwood City Swimming Club for the betterment of con-
<br />•ditions,and the improvement of the creek below the floodgate on Broadway was on motion of
<br />tee Tuehsen,seconded by Trustee Me.Nulty,the Supt.of Streets be instructed to get an
<br />estimate on the cost of repairing the flood gates, and such other necessary repairs that is
<br />needed and report same at next meeting,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Merrill,seeonded by Trustee Tuchsen,the Town of Redwood City do
<br />transfer the tri -angle strip of land along the board walk,situated between the City Hall,
<br />and Washington Street as per blue print in question to J.E.Ensor et.al..and in consideration.
<br />of same they aggreed to fill the entire area covered by said board walk.Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuehsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty the City Engineer be instruct-
<br />ed to find the line of the tri -angle piece of land along the board walk situated between
<br />the City Hall and Washington Street and the expense of said survey to be paid by the prop-
<br />erty owners,Motion Carried. -
<br />On motion of Trustee.Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty the necessary steps be taken
<br />to lay a sewer on Sequoia Avenue from the southerly. line of the City Limits to Roosevelt

<br />purchase the necessary curtain for the fire house on Winslow Street to protect the Chemical
<br />Engine from the afternoon sun,Motion Carried,
