<br />Communication from Tacoma Mill Company requesting the discontinuing of dumping of

<br />refuse on their marsh land was referred to the committee of Public Works for action on
<br />same.

<br />Application of W.C.Johansen for a permit for a Class"A" Liquor License to conduct a
<br />Ssaloon at 2¢0 Main street known as the O.Z.Saloon was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie
<br />seconded"by Trustee Tuchsem.
<br />Application from the Pacific Gas & Electric Company to make contact on two poles on 4,#Ijedmi
<br />Adams,street as per blue print § I03 R.attached was granted on motion of Trustee Tuchsen

<br />authorized to purchase 600 feet of 4" Cast Steel Wire, the cost of same to be $IMO,

<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty that account of.poorly condition
<br />of Broadway,it is the sense of this Board that it be treated with a coating of Bituerete Coq�ih'y
<br />treatment therefore this Board recommends the process of Mr.E.M.Chadbourne,and al.thorizesraa
<br />him to secure the signatures and enter into contract with property owners on said street
<br />the cost price to be .02 per square foot,and said work to be under the subdivision of the
<br />Supt. of Streets,Motion Carried.
