i <br />be,and each of said protests is hereby. overruled, <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting of said Board held on the 7th.day of May.1917,at the hour of I0.30 o'clock P.M. of <br />said day,by the following vote; <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees; <br />Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W.Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tucheen,E.H.Sampson. <br />Noes and against the passage pf the foregoing Resolution,Trastees, <br />None. <br />Absent,Trastees,None. <br />---------------------- <br />E.H.Sampson. <br />President of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />Attest, W.A.Price <br />Clerk of the Town of Redwood City. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this 7th.day of May,1917. <br />E.H.Sampson. <br />--------------------- <br />President <br />----------- ---President of the -Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />Trustee Tachsen presents the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Mabie <br />seconds the motion, <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO.A-3. <br />RESOLVED,that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did on the 16th. <br />day of April,1917,pass its Resolution of Intention A.-3 to order the hereinafter described <br />work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town,which Resolution of Intention <br />A-3 was duly and legally published as required by law,as appears from the affidavit of D.E. <br />O'Keefe now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town;and <br />I�6sa/ut h - <br />D/'clet;n WHEREAS,notives of the passage of said Resolution of Intention A-3 headed°Notice of <br />7W,oWaY Improvement" were duly and legally Posted in the form and manner required by law as appears <br />o -A -S <br />� Ut odfrom the affidavit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent of said Town of Redwood City; <br />A v e. and <br />WHEREAS,it appears from the affidavit of Edward Dearborn,Street Superintendent of said <br />Town of Redwood City hereinbefore mentioned that the notices of improvement so posted as <br />I <br />G aforesaid as set forth were posted and said posting was completed on the 2¢th.dajs of April <br />{ 1917;and <br />WHEREAS,in and by said Resolution of Intention A-3 said Board of Trustees of said Torun <br />of Redwood City fixed Monday the 7th.day of May,1917,at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M. of said <br />da at the meeting g place of said Board of :Trustees of said Town of Redwood City in the <br />Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Webster street in the Town of Redwood City,County of <br />f San Mateo,State of California,as the day,hour and place when and where any and all persons <br />having any objections to the proposed work and improvements described in said Resolution of <br />Intention A-3 could appear before the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and <br />j show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out in accordance <br />i with said Resolution of Intention A,=3;and <br />WHNRI3AS,at the day;hour and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention A-3 when and <br />where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements <br />described in said Resolution of Intention A-3 could appear before the Board of Trustees of <br />said Town and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not he carried out <br />l in accordance with said Resolution of Intention A-3 one written protest from Frank Stewart <br />was received against said work and oral protests were made against said work by K.Okamara <br />
