0301 <br />in substance to be published by two insertions in the Redwood City Democrat,a weekly <br />newspaper published,printed and circulated in said Town of Redwood City,(there being no <br />daily newspaper published therein,) the first publication of the notice of the pasJage of <br />said Resolution of Intention NO. -A-5 being on the 7th.day of June,1917, and <br />WHERBLS,no protests against the change,re-establishihept and establishment of the grade <br />therein proposed to be changed,re-established and established have been made or filed with <br />the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City, and the time for filing such protests have expired, <br />NOW THEREFORE,it id hereby ordered and directed that the official grades on Vera Avenue <br />from the southerly line of B1 Camino Real to the northerly line of lot 7 of the Wooster, <br />f <br />Whitton and Montgomery Subdivision of a part of the Redwood Farm extended westerly across <br />said Vera avenue in a straight line as said lot 7 is shown 6n the map hereinbefore herein <br />referred to, beand the same are hereby changed,re-established and established so that such <br />grades, and the elevations in feet above the Redwood City base at the points hereinafter <br />mentioned,shall be as follows,to-wit; <br />Center line of Tera avenue at southerly line of E1 Camino Real at II.8 feet above base. <br />Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Adams street at I2.8 iffeet above base. <br />Center lihe of Vera avenue at cemter line of Clinton street at I¢-¢ feet above base. 7iQS�%H <br />Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Cleveland street at 15.9 feet above base. VeY0.Ave' <br />Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Evans street extended at 19.3 feet above h --se. <br />Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Hudson street extended at 21 feet above base. <br />Center line of Vera avenue at northerly line of lot 7 of the Wooster,Whitton & Montgomery <br />Subdivision of a part of the Redwood Fram extended westerly in a straight line as said lot <br />is shown on the map hereinbefore herein mentioned -at 22.5 feet above base. <br />I The grade on said avenue between the points at which elevations are established or re- <br />establiohed herein will lie evenly on a straight line connecting consecutive points.The <br />grade at the top of the curbs on both sides of the avenue shall at all points be three <br />inches below the grades in the center of the avenue as herein established or re-established . <br />The grades at the gutter on both siffes of the avenue shall at all points be six inches below <br />the grades at the top of the curbs as slid grddes are established or re-established herein. <br />The base which the elevations and grades herein referred to have reference is mean high w <br />water of the San Francisco Bay compared to which the top of that certain granite monument <br />marked"G.B." placed in that certain triangular piece of land in the Town of Redwood City, the; <br />property of said Town, and .hounded by Main streot,formerly Mound street,Beech street and the <br />right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company,which said monument is located in said <br />piece of land at a point 5 -5 -feet easterly from a point in the easterly line of Main street, <br />j formerly Mound streer which last mentioned point is 50.6 feet northerly in said easterly line! <br />3f Main street formerly Mound street from the northerly line of Beech street is fixed and <br />3stablished at 12,6 feet above mean high water of the San Francisco Bay. <br />1.11 the herein proposed work and change of grade is done in pursunaue of anAct of <br />the Legislature of the State of California,entitled"An Act to Provide for c'ganging or <br />modifying the grade of public,streets,lanes,alleys,courts or other places within munipalities" <br />a.pprlved April 21st,1909. <br />and it is further ordered that this Resolution be published once in the Redwood City <br />Democrat, a weekly newspaper,published,printed and circulated in said Town of Redvo od City, <br />and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br />I <br />Passed and adppteg �y the �B6atd.ibt Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, at a regular <br />meeting of said Board held on the 16th.day of ffu1y,1917. by the following vote; <br />lyes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees, <br />Geo.W.Mc.11ulty,Car1Z.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,E.H.Oampson. <br />1 --------------------------------- <br />------------------ <br />A <br />ii <br />
