C Redwood City,July 23rd.1917,8o'clock P.M. Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held. Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President,E.H.Sampson,Geo.A.Merrill,Geo.W. Mc.Nulty,Carl IS.blabie,H.C.�'uchsen,City Clerk W.A.Price. Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Merrill the minutes of last meeting be dispensed with,Motion Carried. Communication from the National Magnesia Mfg. Co.,regarding sewerage System was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty same be received and filed,Motioti Carried. 305now Coi:nnunication from F.E.Kendall reguesting permission to connect with the City Water F Elfenddll main at Ashley Avenue and Edgewood Road was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded. by Trustee ir0le" Conaeerinn Mabie the request be granted subject to the definite size of the pipe wanted,Motion Carried. Affidavit of James D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing Resolution of Intention NO.A-5, ,Afflov/f 0 re-establishing and establishing the official grades on Vera Avenue was on motion of Trustee Pwklishlal Herrill,seconded by Trustee b1c.Nulty same be received and filed,Motion Carried. Trustee Tuchsen presents the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Mabie seconds the motion, RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING GRADES ON VERA AVENUE. RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees.of the Town of Redwood City that the official grades of the following named avenues in the Town of Redwood City,at the points and places herein- after mentioned,be and the same are hereby fixed and established as follors,to-wit; Center line of Vera avenue as southerly line of El Camino Real at II.8 feet above base. Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Adams street at I2.8 feet above base. Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Clinton street at 14.4 feet above mase. Center line of Vera avenye at center line of Cleveland street at 15.9 feet above base. Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Fulton street at 18.0 feet above base. we Eshbl; sh bi,y Grades Vera Ave, Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Evans street extended at 19.3 feet above base. Center line of Vera avenue at center line of Hudson street extended at 2I.5 feet above base. Center line of Vera a9tenue at northerly line of lot 7 of the Wooster,Whitton & Montgomery's subdivision of a part of the Redwood Farm as said lot 7 is shown on the map therof on file in the office of the County Recorder of the County pf San Mateo,State of California in Book "E"of Maps at page 31 at 22.5 feet above baoe. The grades between the points and places where grades are established herein shall be a straight line drawn between'consecutive points. The base to which the grades hereinbefore established have referenae-is mean high water of the San Francisco BaST. The top of that certain granite monument marked «G.B."placed in that certain triangular piece of land in the Town of Redwood City the property of said Town and bounded by Main street formerly Mound street,Beech street and the right of way of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company,which monument in said piece of land at a point 5 -5 -feet ewsterly from a point in the easterly line of luain street formerly Iti4ound street,which last mentioned point is 50.6 feet northerly in said easterly likie of Aiain street,formerly Mound street from the aortherly line of Beech street is hereby declared and established to be I2.6 feet above mean high water of the San Francisco bay. RESOLVED that the width of the roadway of Vera avenue be and the same is hereby fixed ind established at forty feet to be 20 feet on each side of the center line thereof. RESOLVED that the remaining portions of Vera avenue on both sides of the roadway thereof )e,and the same is hereby set apart as and for sidewalks and curbs. Trustee Mabie seconds the motion, FA
