Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President, E. H. Sampson, Geo.W.Mc.Nulty,Carl K. Iulabie,H.C.Tuchsen,City Clerk W.A.Price,Absent,Trustee Geo.A.Merrill. :affidavit of D.E.O'Keefe in the matter of Publishing Notice .of application for a Permit of the Redwood Transit Company iii operating a motor bus between this City and the Military Camp at Menlo Park,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nu ty be received and filed,Motion Carried. Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty the ap-olication of the Redwood Transit Company for a Five(5) year permit to operate a motor bus line between the Town of Redwood City and the Military Camp at Menlo Park be granted and the Clerk be authorized to issue a permit to said Company,Motion Carried. On motion of Trustee Tuehsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie the matter of the improvement of Vera Avenue be laid over until the first -meeting of January,1918,11otion Carried. Application of G.Casaretto of 130¢ El Camino Real for a I2 o'clock dance on Saturday eve&Jr4 September Ist-1917 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen same be granted,Motion Carried. Application from Bonita Parlor IO N.D.G.W for permission to give a dance on the street 'opposite the Court House -on the evening of September 7th.1917 was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc,Nulty same be granted,Motion Carried. Communication from St.inn's Hospital,Treadwell,Alaska for financial aid was laid over for further consideration. Communication from R.E.Brotherton Co,C.J.Rambo, and 71m.J.Kidd for the auditing of the City Accounts was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie be referred to the Finance Committee,Motion Carried, ORDINANCE NO.182. An Ordinance Fixing the Amount of Money to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within -the Town of Redwood City,as a revenue to carry on the various departments of said o Town for the current Year of 1917-1918 and pay the bonded indebtedness of said Town falling OrO�ir+a�zu, due during said year,Trustee Mc.Nulty moves the introduction of Ordinance No.182,Trustee No= Tuchsen seconds the motion,Motion Carried. Moved by Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty that we do now adjourn to•Septembcr "¢th,.19-17 at 8 o'clock P.M.
