<br />Minutes of the regular meeting hled September 4th.1917 were rend and o4 motion of
<br />Trustee Mc.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Merrill same be approved,as reaa,,Motion Carried.
<br />Application from the Redwood City Sperry's Baseball Club for permission to conduct an all
<br />night Grand Ball on Saturday night October 6th.1917,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,r)econded
<br />by Trustee Merrill same be granted,i.Zotion Carried.
<br />Applict:tion from the Young Bachelor Club for a'permit to hold an all night Grf�nd Ball
<br />on Saturday night November 3rd.1917,in Forester's Hall,was on motion of Trustee I4labie
<br />seconded by Trustee Merrill same be granted,Motion Carried..
<br />Application from G.Casaretto to hold a I9 o'clock Social Dance at 1304 El Camino heal on
<br />Saturday evening September PPnd.1917 and on'Saturday evening September 99th.1917;was on
<br />motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Mc,Nulty same be granted,1otion Carried.
<br />Application of Frank J.Bawart for permission to operate a motorbus passenger service
<br />between the Tours of Redwood City.and Palo Alto was on motion of Trustee Kabie,seconded by
<br />Trustee Mc Nulty same be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the War Service Committee of the American Library Asoociation in
<br />regards to the forming of a local Library War Gouncil,was on motion of Trustee Merrill,
<br />seconded by Trustee Itilabie,said commuinic�tion be referred to the local Library Board,
<br />Motion Carried.

<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,that the rete of taxes for
<br />the fiscal year 1917-1918 for general municipal purposes and for the general fund of said
<br />!Down of Redwood City,upon each ) I00 of the assesied valuation of the property in said Town,
<br />be, and the same is hereby fixed at ninty cents, and
