<br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Roll Call, present: Trustees President Geo. A.Merrill, Geo. A. Deleau,.J. J.
<br />Hahir, E. H. Sampson, H. C. Tuchsen, Town Clerk, G. C. Plump.
<br />On motion Trustee Sampson seconded by Trustee Hahir. The Presidnet of the Board
<br />and Town Clerk authorized to enter into Contract with Wm. Chubbick for care of chemical
<br />engine, Lotion carried.
<br />Affidavit5of D. E. O'keefe, and J. 0. Dickey in the matter of publishing and
<br />posting Resolution of Intention Nos. 26 and 27. On motion Trustees Hahir and Tuchsen, same
<br />be received and filed.
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Trustee Tuchsen presents the following Resolution and moves its adoption.

<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO. 26.
<br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did on
<br />the 21st day of February, 1916, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 26, to order the here-
<br />inafter described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town, which Resolu-
<br />tion of Intention No. 26, was duly and legally published as required by law as appears from
<br />the affidavit of D. E. O'Keefe,now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town of Red-
<br />wood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 26, headed
<br />"Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated
<br />work and improvements and in front of all the property liable to be assessed th:reafter,
<br />in the manner and form as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of J. 0. Dickey,
<br />Street Superintendent of said Town of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavit of J. 0. Dickey, Street Superintnendent
<br />of said Town of Redwood City, hereinaboite referred to, that he completed the posting of
<br />the Notices of Improvement above mentioned on the 28th day of February, 1916; and
<br />WITIEREAS, said Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City in and by said Re-
<br />solution of Intention No. 26, fixed MONDAY the 13th day of March, 1916, at the hour of
<br />7:30 P.1,1. of said day at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees of the Town of Red-
<br />wood City, in the Council Chamber, in the Town Hall on Webster street in the Town of Red-
<br />wood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, as the day, hour and place when and
<br />where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements de-
<br />scribed ir. said Resolution of Intention No. 26, could appear before the Bm.rd of Trustees
<br />of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should
<br />not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 26; and
<br />Z'JHEREAS, ut the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. 26,
<br />when and where any and all'persons having any objection to the proposed work and improve-
<br />ments described in said Resolution of Intention No. 26 could appear before the Board of
<br />Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements
<br />should not be carried out inaccordanee with said Resolution of Intention No. 26, no per-
<br />sons appeared before said Baord of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City objecting to said
<br />proposed work and improvementes described in said Resolution of Intention No. 26 and at
<br />day, hour and place there ^✓ere no objections of any kind or nature made against said pro-
<br />posed work and improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. 26
<br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience require the
<br />work and improvements herein described, and t}� Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood
<br />City hereby orders the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town
<br />of Redwood City, to-wit:-
