r <br />4 <br />n <br />Redwood City,November i9th.1917.7-30 ofolock,P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees;President,E.H.Sampeon,Goo.W.Mo.Nulty,Carl K. <br />Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,City Clerk W.A.Prioe,Absent,Trustee Geo.A.Merrill. <br />Minutes of the regular meeting.held November 5th.1917; and special meeting held November <br />16th.19.17 were read and after correction was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seoonded by <br />Trustee Mabie same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Affidavit of C.H.Cornelius and Geo.R.Felton in the matter of application for a permit <br />to operate a motor bus paseengerrservice was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee <br />Mc.Nulty,same be, received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,se•eonded by Trustee Mo.Nulty the application of C.H:Cornelius <br />for a permit to operate a motor bus passenger service between Redwood. -City and Palo Alto <br />be granted,Motion C..rried. <br />Moved by Trustee Nk.bie,seconded by Trustee Mc Nulty the application of Geo.R.Felton for <br />a permit to operate a jitney bus between Redwood City and Camp Fremont be granted,Motion <br />Carried. <br />Application of A.I.English,.Karl.Kahr-un,Andrew Andreasen of Redwood City,F.J.Sweeney <br />1075 Gough Street,Saa Fr�.neiseo,E.G.Lawrence and Estello M.Lawrenee of Palo Alto for a <br />permit to operate a motor bus passenger and jitney service between Redwood City,and Palo <br />Alto was on motion of Trustee Me.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie same be received and filed, <br />and hearing set for same Monday evening December 3rd.1917 at 7-30 o'clock,Motion Carried. <br />Application of M.P.Sarsfield and J.F.Ford for a permit to operate a Taxi Service in the <br />Town of Redwood City was on motion of Trustee Me.Nulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie,same be <br />received and filed and hearing for same be set for Monday December 3rd.at 7-30 o'cl0k P.M. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Communication from Wm.Chubbuck for an increase of Twenty five(425.00)dollare per month <br />for housing and servive in the care of the Chemical Fire Engine was on motion of Trustee <br />Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Msbie,same be received and filed for further action, and the <br />Clerk be instructed to write Mr.Chubbuck for further det..ils and the actual cost of increase, <br />Motion Carried. <br />Application of Wm.J.Gowans,Corup«ny L.8th.Inf, and George J.Weloh Troop A 15th.Oalveof <br />Camp Fremont for a permit to give an entertainment and all night Ball in Forester's Hall <br />December 15th.1917 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty same be <br />granted.mbtion carried. <br />Application of G.Casaretto for a permit to hold a I2 o'clock social dance at 1304 El . <br />Camino Re"l on Saturday evening of November 24th, and December Ist.1917 was on motion of <br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen be granted,Motion garried. <br />The following communication was received from the California State Board of Health;- <br />343 <br />0 <br />s <br />c <br />I <br />
