<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present, Trustees, President y. H. Sampson, ueo.A.Merrill,Ceo.U.
<br />Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,City Clerk CJ.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of the regular meeting held on January 7th.1918 were read,and on motion of
<br />Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Ivic.Nulty,same be approved as read,11otion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchaen, seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty, the City.Attorney be
<br />instructed to writo the owner of Lot 4 -Block A on Lincoln Avenue that unless a concrete
<br />sidewalk is laid on or before February 4th.1918,the City would take some action in the
<br />matter,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee biabie, the communication of Charles
<br />Cofiori relative to increase of pay,same be referred to the Finance Committee to report
<br />on at next meeting in regards. the salary of day labor of the City employees,
<br />Communication from the Tax Payer's Association in regards to economizing was received

<br />and filed.
<br />Communication from R.C.Smoot applying for the position of Plumbing Inspector was on
<br />inotion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty,action on same -be laid over until
<br />Next meeting,Motion Carried. .
<br />Communication from the California Traffic Offiuer's Assn. -,was on motion of Trustee
<br />"uchsen,same be laid over for further consideration,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of lauller,Mc.Garvey and Flynn for a permit to conduct a lodging house at
<br />228 Main street and known as the La Hona,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee
<br />Mc.Nukty same be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of L.Barrish of 1528 E1 Camino Real for a Junk Dealers License,was on
<br />motion of Trustee Iti7abie,seconded by Trustee 11c.Nulty same be granted,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of C.I.Mc.Kinney and Acy Boran, and Frank d.Sweeney Tor a permit to operate
