<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees,President 4;.H.Sampson,L+eo.A.2•Serrill,ueo.v.
<br />Mc.Nulty,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen,City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of the regular meeting held on January 7th.19i8 were read,and on motion of
<br />Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mc.Idulty,same be approved as read,blotion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee 14c.27ulty, the City,Attorney be
<br />instructed to write the owner of Lot 4 -Block A on Lincoln Avenue that unless a concrete
<br />sidewalk is laid on or before February ¢th.1918,the City would take some action in the
<br />matter,114otion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the communication of Charles
<br />Cofiori relative to increase of pay,same be referred to the Finance Committee to report
<br />on at next meeting in regards.the salary of day labor of the City employees,
<br />Communication from the Tax Payer's Association in regards to economizing was received
<br />and filed.
<br />Communication from R.C.Smoot applying for the position of Plumbing Inspector was on
<br />motion of Trustee Merrill, seconded by Trustee Mc.Nulty,action on same -be laid over until
<br />:next meeting,Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from the California Traffic Offiuer's Assn.,was on motion of Trustee
<br />Cuchsen,same be laid over for further consideration,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of 1duller,Mc.Garvey"and Flynn for a permit to conduct a lodging house at
<br />228 Main street and known as the La Hona,was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee
<br />1c.Nukty same be granted,llotion Carried.
<br />Application of L.Barrish of 1528 E1 Camino Real for a Junk Dealers License,was on
<br />notion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Mc -Nulty same be granted,Motion Carried.
