390 from the negligent operation or violation of any ordinances of the Town of Redwood City or the laws of the State of California,The recovery upon said bond shall be limited to the sum of five thousand dollars for the injury or death of one person and to the sum of ten thousand dollars for injury or death of two or more persons in the same accident, and to the sum of one thousand dollars for the injury or destruction of property, Such bond shall by its terms inure to the benefit of any and all persons suffering damage to either person or property and shall contain a provision that there is a continuing liability thereunder notwithstanding any recovery thereon;if in the opinion of the Board at any time they may consider that the bond is insufficient they may require grantee herein to replace the same with a bond satisfactory to this Board and in the event of a failure to so do the rights of grantee hereunder may be revoked; The bond herein provided for may be filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City at either termini of grantee;PROVIDED HOWEVER, that a copy of such bond is filed in the office of the City Clerk of the Town of Redwood city; (4) That all cars and equipment operated, by reason of the rights and priviledges herein Tn-m�J` 7v granted shall be operated in accordance with (I) the Ordinances of the Town of Redwood City, I i �ifrricq $tai?.L'a (2) the rules orders and regulations of the railroad Commission of the State of California, (3)and the Laws of the State of California,which are now or which may hereafter be in gorce and effect; (5)That the rights and priviledges granted are granted for the period of five years from and after the date of the supplemental order provided for in Decision 5107 of the Railroad Commission of the State of California, rendered in application 3422; PROVIDE HOWEVER, that the same may at any time be revoked or suspended,by prder of the Board of Trustees, after a public hearing,before said Board,on the complaint of any person,or on its own initiative,it finds that the grantee herein is violating any of the provisions of Section Four hereof; )6) That the street or streets over which applicant is permitted to operate are as follows;- EL CAMINO R " L, and such other street or streets as may be necessary by reason oaf the foregoing street of streets being closed for repair or for any other cause or causes whatsoever; (7) that this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon the passage thereof and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to issue to the Pickwick Stages,lTorthern Division, a' corporation, a permit showing the facts required to be shown by Section 5 (e) of Chapter 213;Laws of 1917; of the State of California; ADOPTED,by the Board of Trusteea and approved by me this 15th.day of April,A.D.1918 Attest.
