Redwood City,May 25th.191!8,7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees;-President Carl K.Mabie,M.E.Ryan,Geo.W. <br />Mc.ITulty,J.C.Jones,Geo.A.Kreiss,City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Trustee Ryan presents the following Resolution amd moves its adoption,Tru.stee Jones <br />s-edonds the motion, <br />RESOLUTION. <br />----------------- <br />KWA <br />K -49 -MA <br />WHEREAS,The Redwood City Harbor <br />Company has agreed to <br />lease t.o the Town of Redwood, <br />�] <br />OSo/af," <br />City for a period of twenty five (25) <br />years such portions of <br />its -lands as the United <br />77.0d'0100 L/ <br />Gary <br />States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet <br />Corporation may want <br />as appears ih-ia letter°from <br />¢iArGvr•G°� <br />the Redwood City Harbor Company to the Chamber of Commerce <br />of Redwood City dated May <br />G�4s <br />26th.1918, and <br />WHEREAS.Tovirn of Redwood City is <br />desirous of securing <br />the United States Shipping <br />Board Emergency Fleet Corporation.in <br />the enjoyment of said <br />lands for such period. <br />0 <br />RESOLVED THAT; <br />I.The Town of Redwood City sjrands ready and willing, upon request by the United <br />States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation to transfer to the United States <br />Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation its interest in said land or such part <br />thereof.as the United States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet Corporation may select for <br />the location upon said land by the United States Shipping Board Emergency Fleet corpor- <br />ation of a concrete shipbuilding plant,and upon the payment by the United States Shipping <br />Board Emergency Fleet Corporation of One (4 I.00) Dollar per year,the United States <br />Shipping Board Emergency Fle.et.0orporation to have a right to transfer such lands or <br />its interest therein. <br />Passed and adopted by the following vote; - <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees, <br />2,1.E.Ryan,Geo.W—Mc.Nulty, J.
