<br />RESOLVED,by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,a municipal corporation 11itiQ�cptoti
<br />situate in the County.of San Mateo,State of California,that
<br />r
<br />WHEREAS ,heretofore on the 17th.day of June,1918. a petition was duly received,by filing
<br />with and• Dresenting to this Board of Trustees,at a regualr meeting of said Board held on
<br />said day,in and by which petition it was duly asked that the boundaries of said Town be

<br />altered and certain new uninhabited territory therein described, be annexed to,and incor-
<br />porated and included therein; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Board of Trustees duly considered said ion and received evidence in
<br />,I
<br />support,therof and duly found said petition to be i riting, and that it contained a

<br />' description of the new uninhabited territory asked to be annexed to and included in said
<br />municipal corporation, and that it was duly signed by more than one-tenth in number of the
<br />qualified electors of sych municipal corporation,computed upon the number of votes cast
<br />at the last general municipal election held therein, and that said territory described
<br />therein was and is wholly uninhabited, and was and is contiguous to said Town of Redwood
<br />City,and was not a part of any municipal corporation; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Board of Trustees thereupon ordered that it should notify the Board of
<br />P Supervisors of the County of San 1dateo,State of California of the fili#g of said petition
<br />and that the Town Clerk of said Town,he being the exggrofficio clerk of said Board of Trusteea
<br />should immediately transmit to said Board of Supervisors a notice of the fili#g of said
<br />petition,together with certified copies of said petition and the Resolution and Order of
<br />said Board of Trustees and request that the said Board of Supervisors, after proceegings
<br />theretofore duly had taken,should,by proper Resolution,consent to the annexation of such
<br />new uninhabited territory by said Town of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS,said"Town Clerk did duly transmit to said Board of Supervisors a notice in
<br />conformity with said order of said Baord of Trustees,together with a certified copy of
<br />said petition anf of the Resolution and order so passed by said Board of Trustees on said
<br />17th. day of June ,1918 *,. and
<br />WHEREAS,said Board of Supervisors received and considered the said notification from
<br />said Board .of Trustees on the 19th.day of June,1918,and thereupon by Resolution duly
<br />passed and adopted fixed Monday the Ist.day of July,1918, at the hour of IO o'clock A.M.of
<br />said day at the chambers of said Board of Supervisors in the County courthouse in Redwood
<br />City,County of San Mateo,State of Cali:iornia,gs the time and place for considering the
<br />matter of said annexation and for hearing any objections thereto,and duly directed that
<br />notice of such hearing be given by the Clerk of said County of San I1ateo, he being the
