Redwood City,November 18th.igi8,7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present; -Trustees President Carl K.Mabie,I,i.E.Ryan,J.C.Jones, <br />Geo.A.Kreiss,City Clerk VI.A.Price,Absent Trustee.Geo.W.Mc.11ulty. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held Nevember 4th.1918. were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Jones,seconded by Trustee Ryan same be approved as read. <br />A petition was received from the employees of the Schaw-Batcher Shipbuilding Company <br />and residents of this city asking the co-operation and assisstance of the Board in <br />petitioning the Southern Pacific Company in having the train thdit leaves San Francisco <br />at 3-30 o'clock P.Iri.stop at Redwood City;was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee <br />Kreiss,said petition reco ve'thd endordement of this Board,and same be referred to the <br />City Attorney to take up with the Railroad Comnany,IvIotion Carried. <br />Application of Court Madrone # 158 Hall Assn,for permit to hold a 3 o'clock dance in <br />Forester's Hall Saturday evening November 30th.1918 was granted on motion of Trustee Ryan, <br />seconded by Trustee Jones. <br />Application of Corporal Edgar of 520 Ylanzanita Street for a permit to hold a 3 o'clock <br />dance Saturday night December 14th.1918;was on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee <br />Kreiss same be garnted. k <br />Application of the California Military Reserve for a permit to hold a 3 O'clock dance <br />in Forester's hall on aaturday evening December 7th.1918 was granted on motion of Trustee <br />Ryan,seconded by Trustee Hones. <br />Application of Matamora Rribe # 2¢ Imp.O.of Redmun for a permit to hold a 3 o'clock dance <br />in Forester's H all on Saturday night November 23rd.1918;was on motion of Trustee Ryan, <br />seconded by Trustee Jones,same be granted. <br />Application of Court Madrone 4 158 Forester's of America for a permit to hold their <br />until 3 o'clock <br />anual Masque Ball on Thanksgiving Eve in Forster's Hall was on motion of Trustee Ryan,; <br />seconded by Trustee Jones,same be granted,Illotion Carried. <br />The following petition was received; - <br />To the Homorable Board of Trustees, <br />Town of Redwood City,Calif. <br />Redwood City, November IIth.'I§I8. <br />Gentlemen; - <br />9e the undersigned,property owners or residents,respectfully petition for <br />an electric light to be installed at the corner of Allerton St and Hopkins Ave;Redwood <br />City. <br />jfire2�.
