The Town Clerk of said Town of Redwood City, is hereby directed to post a notice <br />of said work and improvements, together with the plans and specifications therefor, <br />conspicuously for five days on or near the Council Chamber door, inviting sealed proposals <br />or bids for doing the work and improvements ordered herein. Said Clerk of the Town of <br />Redwood City is also directed to publish a notice inviting such proposals, and referring <br />to the plans and specifications posted or on file in the "Redwood City Democrat" a <br />weekly newspaper published and circulated in said Town,and hereby designated by the <br />Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City, for that purpose. <br />All the herein proposed work and improvements shall be done in pursuance of and in <br />conformity with an act of the Legislature of the State of California, entitled "Improvement <br />Act of 1911, approved April 7th, 1911 and acts amendatory thereof. <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at the hour of <br />8 o'clock P. M. of the 6th day of March, 1916, at a regular meeting of said Board of <br />Trustees held on said day, by the following vote; <br />Ayes dad in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution ordering the Work No. <br />23, Trustees, Deleau, Hahir, Sampson, Tuchsen, Merrill, <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution Ordering the work No. 23, <br />Trustees, <br />- None <br />Absent Trustees, None <br />Geo. A. Merrill <br />President of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />Attest: G. 0. Plump <br />Cleric of the Town of Redwood City. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution Ordering the Work No. 23, this 6th day of <br />March, 1916. <br />Geo. A. Merrill <br />President of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />On Motion Trustees Tuchsen and Hahir, Clerk directed to invite bids for work under <br />Resolution No. 23, for Monday April 3rd, 1916, at 8 o'clock P.M. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Tuchsen presents the following Resolution, and moves its adoption, Trustee <br />Hahir seconds the motion. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK NO. 2¢. <br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did on <br />the 7th day of February, 1916, pas; its Resolution of Intention No. 24, to otder the herein. <br />after described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town, which Resolution <br />of Intention No. 2¢, was duly and legally published*as required by law, as appears from <br />the affidavit of D. E. O'Keefe, now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of <br />Redwood City. <br />AND WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 2¢, headed <br />"Notice of Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated <br />work and improvements and in front of all. the property liable to be assessed therefor, in <br />fnrm and manner as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of J.
