M N southerly rail of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's track as now constructed and a line 2 1/2 feet north of and parallel to the most northerly rail of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company's track, as now constructed. All macadamizing and oiling to be done to the official grades. All the hereinbefore and hereinabove mentioned work and improvements are to be done, in accordance with the spacial plans and specifications heretofore adopted for doing said work and improvements by the Board of Trustees, of the Town of Redwood City, on the 7th day of February, 1916, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City, to which plans and specifications reference is hereby made for a further description of work and for further particulars. Serial bonds bearing interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum, and extending over the period of 9 years from the second day of January, next succeed- ing their date shall be issued to represent assessments of twenty-five ($25) dollars or over for the costs and expenses of said work and improvements, and in manner and form provided by law. RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids, except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvements to the lowest respon- Bible bidder,to-wit:- Blanohard--Brown Company at the prices named in their bid. The Town Clerk of said Town of Redwood City, is hereby direct4d to post notices of this award, conspicuously for five days, on or near the Council Chamber Door, of the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City, also publish notice of this award, by tw insertions in the "Redwood City Democrat", a weekly newspaper publish- ed and circulated in said Town of Redwood City, and hereby designated for that purpose by the Board of Trustees of said Town. All the herein described work and improvements shall be done in pursuance of and in conformity with an Act of the Legislature of the State of California, entitled, "Improvement Act of 1911" approved April 7th, 1911, and acts amendatory thereof. � j -; , 0 Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of said Tuwn of Redwood City, at*'regular meeting of said Board, held on the 3rd day of April, 1916,by the following vote: Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution of Award No. 25 Trustees, Deleau Hahir, Sampson, Tuchsen.
